Hi there Carole. Still getting my feet wet. You didn’t find the piece on Sergy Brin amusing?

That said, I beg to differ vis-a-vis the state of the country.
1- it’s only futile if we think it’s futile
2- those of us with a facility for words have an obligation to those suffering the most, who, for one reason or another, can’t speak up for themselves
3-’to every thing there is a season’—we can still have fun while insisting our country find mature leadership
4- remember the old saying: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that enough good men to do nothing.”

Hi Carole….
I am always happy to read your writing. Boy, you have taken on the really “big boys”, this time. Personally, I loved your writings about the Art World…you were always right on point, and funny about it, too.
You seem more serious, now, and a bit frantic. I am worried about you, ’cause your humor seems to have gone away. I know politics is serious stuff, but hey! I’ve lived a good many years, and I have not seen anything in government get any better since World War II was over. It’s futile. You will only get gray hair, and wrinkles trying to fight this stuff. Enjoy the beautiful State you live in, and give us fun, fun, fun! Keeping our minds off the s**t that goes on in corporate America, and Washington DC would be a better quest. You could do it so well! Now what is that gangly Gagosian trying to do? Is his NY gallery becoming a museum for Picasso? BTW, didn’t you just love the Woody Allen movie, “Midnight in Paris”? What a fun silly romp. I felt much better after seeing that, than after reading your dear, sincere, but serious blogs. Come back to us, Carole!!!! signed your fan, Carole L., too.
